In keeping with Good Street Records' determination to showcase both well-known and lesser known producers in the UK Footwork / 160 Bass Music scene, we are pleased to present FWUK TRAX SIX, the sixth instalment in our UK Footwork series, and our first release of 2014.
Beach Club x Relic kick off the release in style. Their track Cumulus is uplifting and joins the driving footwork rhythm with breaks and luscious pianos.
Aberdeen based producer TryTryDieDown is next up. In a similar vein to his track Still Luv U on FWUK4, Need Ur is rhythmically unique.
Phrixus is up next with his take on the 160 vibe. Normally producing at lower tempos with his 'Booty Bass' tracks, Rough Warmth is Phrixus' first endeavour into 160bpm, and we hope it won't be his last!
Wolverhampton duo Kloc. are another of the newcomers to Good Street. An interesting clash of basslines, 808 congas and breaks give birth to this bassy rolla, entitled G.E.T.
New name Relka is next up with his track Geek Pond. Chilled deep bassy vibes with a driving kick and well worked vocals make this a solid track worthy of any club set.
And to finish us off is Koje, yet another new name with a bright future ahead of him. X20 Hit Combo is solid and bassy, what more could you ask for?
