Apparently, every night at exactly 21:15, the watch on Fekixs wrist beeps. The roots of this tradition are long forgotton, but it became a reminder for Fekix to enter the musical void.
A member of Good Street since before day one... since before time began... the rumour is that a mispelled name on a vinyl delivery (LFO/Freak) gave birth to his moniker. We don't know for sure.
Bringing togther a group of Leeds based musicians, Fekix has put together an EP of old school/new skool flavours, ranging from Acid tones, to Jungle breaks, and Footwork percussion. Scatty arrangements and fractitous allegro beats are the order of the day. By all accounts, these tracks were originally submitted on floppy disc.
Third Man has also been tenderly remixed by Good Street head Ventah and Yorkshire workhorse Saint Cole - both at 160bpm but at completely different ends of the spectrum.
